Role & responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and maintenance of molds with precision.
- Conduct inspection of tool parts, maintain records, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Manage and maintain critical spares of molds and machines to minimize downtime.
- Handle process outsourcing and material procurement effectively.
- Apply expertise in laser welding processes for mold repair.
- Implement 5S methodology in the tool room to ensure workplace organization and efficiency.
- Drive cost-saving measures in tool room sourcing and procurement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date tool records and documentation.
Preferred candidate profile
- Strong knowledge of heat treatment processes, machining techniques, and laser welding.
- Experience in costing of outsourced parts and vendor management.
- Ability to interpret mold designs and support design-related improvements.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (preferred, but not mandatory).
