Role & responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts using VMM to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Assist in the development and testing of new products, providing input on design changes, materials, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Create and maintain documentation for inspection processes, product development, test protocols, and results. Ensure that all records comply with company standards and industry regulations.
- Assist in collecting data for SPC charts and perform basic analysis to monitor production processes and ensure consistency and quality.
- Help identify areas for improvement in the manufacturing process through data-driven insights.
- Support MSA activities to assess the accuracy, precision, and reliability of measurement systems used in production.
- Analyze and interpret engineering drawings to ensure that parts are manufactured according to the correct specifications and tolerances.
- Assist in the revision or modification of drawings as needed for new or modified products.
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with limited experience are encouraged to apply.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and the ability to interpret technical specifications.
- Familiarity with VMM or other precision measuring equipment is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
