Role & responsibilities

  • Assist in maintenance and repair of press tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
  • Support tool design and modification using NX, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
  • Prepare and maintain tool drawings, BOMs, maintenance records, and engineering documents.
  • Assist in tool trials, troubleshooting, and process improvement activities.
  • Maintain tooling and spare parts inventory, including stock monitoring and record keeping.
  • Follow safety, quality, and 5S standards within the tool room.


Preferred candidate profile

  • Basic knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing and tooling.
  • Proficiency in NX, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Good documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and inventory management practices.
